Seeds of sound

In the Heart of the Amazon rainforest is a network of talent, unseen and unheard.

With support focused towards the cities, the jungle is silent...

That's about to change.

Myself and a group of Amazonian Indigenous artists are building a free-to-use music, arts, and culture centre to support Indigenous youths in reconnecting to, and preserving their traditions.

Based in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, equipped with modern recording technology, traditional instruments, and performance areas, this space will provide a platform for learning, teaching, and creative expression, strengthening cultural identity and re-connection to their ancestral pasts.

The space will offer opportunities for:

  • Local Artists - A safe space to record, distribute, earn, perform, display and connect.

  • Youths - Can reconnect to their true identity, learn ancestral music and traditional arts, and also learn modern techniques of filming, music production - with a focus towards documenting and filming Indigenous culture.

  • Foreign artists - A safe way for foreign artists/musicians/sound healers to access the jungle and collaborate with multiple indigenous nations and authentic cultures during artist residencies and exchanges, access to a wide range incredibly talented musicians and artists who are either up for collaboration, skill exchange or session hire.

  • Indigenous nationalities - This is a multi-cultural space, our arts community here is growing and currently made up of Kichwa, Sieokopai, Kofan, and Shuar communities, here they will be able to share knowledge, create music together and connect in a safe neutral space.

  • Nature - percentages of profits from music sales, artist residencies, art purchases will pay for reforestation and protection projects in the Amazon.

  • Worldwide audiences - Who are interested in hearing real, authentic Indigenous music, otherwise only heard in the forests. This centre will make it easier to access true cultural heritage and music usually unavailable due to lack of recognition and support.

Many Indigenous artists lack access to resources and equipment, and don’t get recognition they deserve, while support is often limited to city residents.

By bridging this gap, we can empower artists, preserve traditions, and support reforestation efforts through music.

The project will be a self sustainable operation that allows artists from the forest and around the world to unite and support them themselves and the forest.

This is an artists sanctuary, a beautiful space to create, learn, share and inspire.

It's about preserving our message as artists

Its about who we are as humans

Who our ancestors were

and preserving culture as one….

To support this project we are welcoming...
